All our small box/parcel solutions are equipped with cellular data and location live tracking technology , allowing you to remotely monitor and track the temperature and location of your unit, with recordings every 15mins and data updates to the Tower Control Center platform at no more than 2 hour intervals.
Real-time tracking is based on GPS technology. It allows the data logger to continuously communicate with satellites in orbit to determine its exact geographical position and sensor’ data. This information is then transmitted to a centralised software platform and transmitted to Tower Control Center (TCC)
All Tower customers can view and monitor their shipment via the Tower Control Center, a bespoke web application dedicated to maximising control and minimising risk in managing temperature-controlled shipments. Yes, live tracking can be used in conjunction with click and collect for full visibility and easy return option. Simply select both options when ordering your KTEvolution on our website.
Our KT and KTM units are integrated with the InTemp CX405-RTD to monitor internal & external temperature of all shipments and automatic data downloads throughout the transit (in-flight excluded) from loggers within range of the CX Gateway device to ensure full compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP). However, the live tracking option is currently only available when renting the KTEvolution 26 or KTEvolution 57 from our Center of Excellence from 2nd of April 2024.
